Won 23-14

An unconvincing win by Hove – but a win never the less. They never quite got the game together although did enough to win. The first half saw tries by Rupert (converted by Adam) and Adam (2nd and 10th minute) separating two penalties by EG.

The second half saw a further EG penalty in the 43rd minute followed by one from Adam in the 56th. EG scored an unconverted try in the 60th with Carl Pittaway answering with a Hove try (63rd) converted by Adam – the final flourish being a penalty by Adam in the 76th.

Final score 23-14.
