Club Highlights
Two new Vice Presidents were elected to the congregation:
- D.H. Baldwin
- E.M. Douglas
And two were no longer on the list and so we presume they had passed away:
- A.E. Russell
- J. Smith
In adition, Jack Woolley became an additional trustee joining Dr. C.F. McGuire (who is now listed as Dr. C.F. MacQuire) and R.A. Edwards.
The Officers and men were easier to record this year with the following changes:
- Richard Jenkins joined in as Press Officer taking over from P.D. Chutter
- The ‘B’ XV returned to the fold just one year after being renamed to the Beefeaters! I can only presume numbers increased and the two stalwarts charged with this team were:
- Alastair Bourne as Captain and Team Secretary
- Chris Basley as Vice-Captain
- In addition, the Beefeaters had a Vice-Captain appointed in Hugh Robinson
