Bec Old Boys started quite brightly converting a penalty from approx. 30 metres directly in front of the Hove posts to take a 3-0 lead. This was quickly reversed by Hove scoring two tries one by Tom Le Mehaute and the other by Adam Phillips, both converted by Adam Phillips to take the score to 14-3 to Hove.

The Half Time score read 30-3 and the Full Time score was 55-3. The scoring statistics for Hove were Tries for Tom Le Mehaute(2), Ben Cole, Adam Phillips, John Medhurst, Chris Henderson and Carl Pittaway.

Adam Phillips personal total for the game consisted of one penalty, all seven conversions and a drop goal. Total 25 points.
